Fall back

WOW, it has been awhile since I last posted.  You can tell things have slowed down a bit, I get to let my guard down. Oh only for the briefest moment.   Only then do I forget to do such things as blog! Between keeping my website updated, blogging, facebooking and actually working there is not much time left in the day! Then add my wild and crazy boys and it's no wonder I can fall asleep with ease each night.
I have been quite busy designing albums. Once I motivate myself it is so much fun to create these albums for my clients.
The Holiday orders are flooding in as well, if you are reading this and have yet to order- deadline is November 26 for holiday cards and Dec 10 for print orders.
I cannot believe we are that close to the Holidays! Every year goes by faster than the next.
It should remind us all to slow down and enjoy each day-

one more to go...

I am now  at the end of my season.  What an amazing one it has been. I have just finished up the Robert F. Kennedy Golf tournament for my 8th year! What a great event! This year Morning Joe was live at Hyannisport Golf Club.   Joe Scarborough and his anchor, Mika got to enjoy a cool Cape Cod morning on the course. As seen here, Ethel Kennedy, Martin Sheen & Bill Murray Murray were present.
Peter Gallagher, Matt McCoy, Gloria Ruben & Jim Rice were a few of the talented players this year.  AS usual it was a very fun "job". I do love what I do!
On Friday evening  a friend was married at Wequassett Inn and I was fortunate to take the photos.  Chris & Emily make what I consider a perfect match! I wish them many, many years of happiness together. As you can see I added some images from the tournament and the wedding-
Off to editing and print orders!  Enjoy the crisp fall weather!

What a beautiful weekend it was for a wedding! Kelly & I both got to capture and celebrate with Tara & Brendan at Wequassett Inn on Saturday.  They had a few poses that they consider signature to them ..this being one, on the dock with a fishing pole.
What a fun couple who certainly knew how to have a great time!! Thanks for allowing us to be there with you!
It is back to the editing grind for me as I finish up my last real week of busy time. I am looking forward to editing, designing and holiday orders.
Off to CBI for the Welch Group "roast" of the retiring CEO. A late start but it will be fun at the least...
Until later

PPA IMAGING

I am so excited, I just booked my trip to Phoenix for the PPA convention in January. A few days to learn and dive into the new and upcoming products in Digital Photography.
I am preparing for an event at Wequassett Inn this evening. Unfortunately it feels like a nor'easter out there... hope the rain holds out.
Enjoy the weekend~

October

Today does not feel like the first day of  October-which of course makes me happy!!
What a washout this weekend for us all!  Suzanne & Chris didn't seem to mind too much while they celebrated their wedding at the SeaView in Dennis.  It was my first time working there and with a fabulous couple.
While I was there, Kelly was at Wequassett Inn.  She was fortunate to get all the photos outside, between rain drops, as you can see here!! Congratulations to Katie & Ben, I cannot wait to see all the photos from Kelly!
There are a lot of print orders, holiday cards and album designs coming through right now! Don't forget to order yours before you actually start feeling the holiday rush!
As the leaves drop and the seasons change, my work changes a little bit as well. I always welcome change!!  check out my three buoys website as it is in the works.

blogher

have you ever heard of it? well, I am listening to Lisa Stone, Co-Founder and CEO of BlogHer.com. . Interesting to hear from Lisa vs. Mike Barnicle, who spoke last night and all but said exactly that bloggers are losers who are bored and still live at home.
Well, Lisa & her two partners have obviously blown that thought off the charts with this blog. If you have not heard of it, seen it or belong to it, go check it out, join, or just read some of the great topics being blogged about...
back to photos of this in depth group of Professionals!!

Day 2

I am just getting ready to head back to Chatham Bars Inn for another Arthur Page Society event. Day 2 of 3. I have always found my job to be exciting, even in the midst of corporate America. This week I get to listen to brilliant scholars, CFO's, CEO's and in this group, CCO's! Of course I am there to take photographs of the highlights, awards, cocktails, etc. It doesn't hurt that I get to listen to the roundtable discussions of some of our world's top business people. I do however respect the privacy of these groups and keep this wealth of information to myself! Sicne I do own two businesses the knowledge is sure to help me in some aspect of my careers.
Well, I guess I am very fortunate that I love the ever changing pace and faces of my job! Off I go to a Clambake on the beach. It is a perfect Fall night for a bonfire, which i am sure will go along with it.
